Kreston Indonesia Attends Kreston Global World Conference 2026

Representatives from Kreston Indonesia attended the Kreston Global World Conference 2026, including the Global Audit Group session on “Leveraging Cross-Network Expertise: Winning International Engagements.”

The discussion highlighted how collaboration across the Kreston network enables member firms to deliver seamless, high-quality solutions for clients operating across borders. During the session, Kreston Indonesia shared practical experiences from its successful work alongside colleagues at Kreston Helmi Talib in Singapore, demonstrating how cross-border teamwork can create opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

While the presentation featured a Singapore collaboration case study, it also reflects the strong relationships and cooperation enjoyed across the entire ASEAN region. The depth of expertise, responsiveness, and trust among ASEAN member firms continues to be a significant strength when serving international clients.

Kreston Indonesia Annual Gathering 2026: 90’s Office Escape in Yogyakarta

What an incredible few days in Yogyakarta! More than 180 team members from our offices in Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, and Batam came together for our annual company gathering, united by the fun and nostalgic theme: “90’s Office Escape.”

The event was packed with memorable experiences — from exciting team-building challenges and outdoor outbound activities that strengthened trust and collaboration, to an unforgettable Gala Dinner where we celebrated our achievements, recognized one another, and created lasting memories together.

This gathering was more than just an event. It was a celebration of our people, our culture, and the connections that make us stronger as one team. Seeing colleagues from across Indonesia come together with so much energy, creativity, and enthusiasm was truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this spectacular gathering possible. We return to our respective offices with stronger bonds, renewed motivation, and great memories that will stay with us long after the event.

Kreston Indonesia Hosts PSAK 118 Sharing Session

Last June 2026, during the Kreston Global World Conference held in London, UK, Kreston Indonesia had the opportunity to discuss with fellow Kreston colleagues from around the world on how to better lead clients through a changing global business landscape.

Building on those discussions, Kreston Indonesia recently initiated a sharing session as part of our ongoing commitment to our clients — helping them prepare for the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS 18: Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements, which will replace IAS 1 as issued by the IASB.

In line with this global development, Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI) has also published PSAK 118, containing the same provisions as IFRS 18. The new standard will take effect for annual reporting periods beginning January 1, 2027.

Through this initiative, Kreston Indonesia aims to strengthen trust and confidence with our clients by ensuring they are well-prepared ahead of the transition. We believe that this kind of proactive engagement is valuable not only for compliance readiness, but also for contributing meaningfully to our clients’ long-term success and sustainability.
